Normally the giant tusk gets broken up when they are quarried – but this one was in one single piece where found.

It was on the top of the ground surface—and very heavy to pick up because it was huge.

In its day, the giant would have looked much bigger than a modern-day elephant, it is up to 13 feet tall, and weighs 14 tons.

It has now been transported to Jamie's Fossils Galore Center in March, Cambridgeshire, where they will conduct research about this giant tusk and protect the amazing discovery from the last snow age.
